PARISH ORGANIZATIONS

Altar Society Circles               

The Altar Society Mission is to enrich the spiritual life of the women of the parish. We care for the altar and sanctuary and necessary affiliated expenses. We provide and serve funeral dinners as a gesture of sympathy. We care for and maintain the parish kitchen and assist with parish activities.

Dinner for Eight (Singles and Couples)

An informal social group that is designed to bring together four couples in the parish for fun and fellowship. The small group meets once each quarter for a shared meal. Groups are formed at the beginning of each calendar year.

Nursery Ministry

The recent survey identified a perceived need to offer a Nursery service during at least one of the Masses. We are looking for Leaders and Workers for this Nursery Ministry. If enough interest is shown, we will set up a meeting to organize a Nursery.

 Harvest House

Harvest House is an organization whose members are fifty-five years of age or older. Our mission is to provide a social organization for seniors to encourage them to remain active, make new friends and enjoy fun filled activities. We meet once a month for a covered dish lunch and entertainment. Harvest House gives seniors something to look forward to. Activities include social, religious and community related experiences.

 Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Family, Fraternal, Service Organization dedicated to the Church and Community. Members participate in various activities throughout the year supporting the Church, Catholic Education, Birthright, Respect Life organizations, Seminarians, Mentally handicapped, local youth, and many other noteworthy projects. Monthly meetings bring members together to conduct business and promote fraternity.

Cub scouting is the phase of the program offered by the Boy Scouts of America for boys in first through fifth grades (or 7,8,9, and 10 yr old boys).

Boy Scouts mission is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and law.

Girl Scouts mission is to inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service that they may become happy and resourceful citizens.

 Merry Married Group

A group of couples that meet bi-monthly for various planned activities focused on friendship and Catholic Spirit. Married or single adults serve as guides and chaperones for the parish youth. Advisors assist with community service projects, spiritual growth and social activities.

 Youth Ministries (CYO)

The purpose of this ministry is to empower Catholic youth to grow in the faith as they build a united community through social service activities.

 Serra Club

The Serra Club is an organization of Catholic men and women whose mission is to foster and promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life through prayer and encouragement
 

Singles Group

This group provides and environment of fellowship for single Catholics, sharing time in spiritual and social activities. This group is currently seeking leadership.
